Jenna Fischer, best known for her work on The Office will star in a new comedy being produced later this month in Detroit. She will join Topher Grace, Malin Akerman and Chris Messina.

The indie film will be written and directed by Lee Kirk.

“The Giant Mechanical Man is an offbeat romantic comedy about two outsiders — a misunderstood street performer (Messina) and the soft spoken zoo worker who falls for him. Akerman will play Fischer’s well-meaning sister who pushes her towards dating a pompous motivational speaker, played by Topher Grace.”

How can you go wrong with Jenna Fischer and Topher Grace. We will keep an eye on this one. If you have information you can send us an email.
