Johnny Depp has landed in Chicago for 'Public Enemies' filming!

While there is a lot of conjecture about filming dates and locations for “Public Enemies,” we can report this as fact.

I live in the building on Clark and Newport where the filming of Public Enemies is taking place. The second story apartment is the home of Depp’s movie girlfriend. FBI agents (Christian) will stake-out in the shanty town under the el tracks and spy on the building. They also shot all of the actor’s mugshots there as well. Good group of people, especially the girls cooperating with the use of their apartments during the shoot. I haven’t seen Johnny yet, but he has been hanging out at our place. Perhaps after the Cubs game I will invite him to a few Wrigleyville establishments.

hey just got word that Johny depp will be hanging out on 105th and torrence tonight. the crew will be at the church. he was sited earlier today on chicago’s southeast side and teh east side.

The past few nights they’ve been at Clark and Newport. Does anyone know where they’re going to be tonight? I’ve heard a few different things from the crew and don’t know what to believe.

what did you hear from the crew? i heard at 7am this morning they were supposed to be at north avenue beach. i would love to know about any spots for tonite as well. can anyone post what they hear! you guys rock on this site! thanks
filming tonight
So, I know for a FACT that they will be filming on Clark and Newport again tonight. I don’t know when or for how long, but I’m assuming they’ll start anywhere from 8-10 PM tonight. I know this because my friend lives on Newport and got a notice under her door today saying that they will be filming one more night. As to what actors will be there, I don’t know. It’s worth checking out, though! Just stand around where the crew guys are and chat it up with them to get info out of them. That’s what I did last night and this props guy kept updating me on when Johnny was going to get there and what he’d be doing in the scene.

they are filming in the pittsfield building and the signs on the street are for from last night at nine till nine am on the tenth. i work in the building next door and have yet to see them becuase they are filming inside.
