IMPROVED! Events Filter

How does the filter feature work on the events calendar? Is there anyway to tag events with either free or cost?

Also, is there anyway to enter one event for multiple days at the same time (i.e. Roadhouse plays at noon on Saturday and Sunday. all the information is the same except it’s for two different days)?

It appears it’s filtering by *type* and currently we only have one: “event”. I’d have to look more into this to see if we could create different types (i.e. “free events,” “events with a cost,” etc.).

Yes. Just make one event and make the start, for example, “2008-02-02 11:30” and the end “2008-02-03 11:30”. No need to make those events separately.

Update

I just made different “types” for the calendar based on your smart catch that we can. Before you add any more events on the calendar, you really should go back through the ones you’ve done and categorize them with the new types I just added:

* Movie review
* Movie screening
* Free event
* Cost event

Now you can easily sort based on just one type. Make sense? Should there be any other type in there?
