Here is the plot description for “Cedar Rapids”:

To call insurance agent Tim Lippe (Ed Helms) “naïve” is a gross understatement. He has never left his small hometown. He has never stayed at a hotel. And he has never experienced anything like Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Sent to represent his company at the annual insurance convention, Tim is soon distracted by three convention veterans (John C. Reilly, Anne Heche and Isiah Whitlock Jr.) who will show him the ropes and push his boundaries. For a guy who plays everything by the book, this convention will be anything but conventional.

Pushing boundaries

Although I can feel incredibly shy at times, I stepped out of my comfort zone to sing the National Anthem (correctly LOL) at a Sox game. The original singer didn’t show, so I did it at the last minute. Now that’s pushing boundaries.

My job

After a weekend off work I requested the next day off, then I called off the day immediately after that sick, then the next day I left a half a day early. I pushed the attendance policy past its boundaries and got fired.
