CHICAGO – While the other networks have been allowing renewal and cancellation news to leak out, CBS had been quiet until this afternoon when they made perhaps the least-surprising announcement so far, canceling “Mad Love,” “$#*! My Day Says,” and “The Defenders”.

All three of the programs had ratings that might have kept them alive on other networks but weren’t good enough for CBS. We correctly predicted that all three would get the axe.

This leaves fans of “Blue Bloods,” “Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior,” and “CSI: NY” waiting on the bubble for CBS.

This leaves The CW as the only network with no official cancellations leading up to their official schedule announcement — start sweating “Hellcats” fans.

CBS makes its full schedule official on Wednesday but you can expect a few more announcements to trickle out before then.
