CHICAGONBC released the least surprising quartet of cancellations in a very long time by announcing that four of their under-performers will not be on the list when schedules are announced next week — say goodbye to “Awake,” “Bent,” “Best Friends Forever,” and “Are You There, Chelsea?”

NBC cancellations and renewals are flying fast with yesterday’s announcement that “Community,” “30 Rock,” and “Parenthood” would all return and today’s announcement that “The Office,” “Up All Night” and “Parks & Recreation” would also return.

It leaves only two major question marks — “Harry’s Law” and “Whitney,” I expect the former to get the axe and the latter, if rumors are true, to return. Stay tuned for all the news.
