WHEATON, Ill. – Studio Movie Grill opens its first Midwest in-theater dining venue in Wheaton, Ill. on June 8, 2012 at 301 Lake Square. This new breed of theater-going takes the guesswork out of planning a night of dinner and a movie by combining the two. Opening film titles include “Prometheus,” “Rock of Ages,” “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter” and “Safety Not Guaranteed”.

We could not be more thrilled to welcome a business that will bring both jobs and family friendly entertainment to our community,” said Wheaton mayor Michael Gresk according to a written statement.

The auditorium is set up with dining tables evoking the feeling of a high end hotel lobby. The dinner menu contains movie staples like popcorn and M&M’s but goes beyond the traditional snacks with offerings ranging from turkey burgers and salads to spicy wings and gourmet pizzas. As well as a full service bar.

All of these items are available with a push of the Service Button conveniently located at every table. Studio Movie Grill explains in a press release, the skilled team is trained to deliver guests’ orders to their seats without compromising the viewing experience or interrupting other patrons.

This new set up will cut down on any awkward pauses during dinner conversation … shh!!
