“One Night of Love” concerns Leonel (Sebastian Wainraich) and Paola (Peterson) who have been happily married for 12 years, and are the parents of two children. Despite their professional success, they can’t contain the feeling that something’s amiss in their marriage. It just takes one dinner – the news that their best friends are separating – and a rather eventful walk around their neighborhood to confront their doubts. Director Hernán Guerschuny and lead actor Wainraich (who co-wrote the script) deliver an intimate, penetrating and bittersweet portrait of a marriage at a crossroads.

The 33rd Chicago Latino Film Festival (CLFF) will take place from April 20th through May 4th, 2017, and will feature over 100 feature-length and short films from Latin America, Spain, Portugal and the United States. All of the films will be shown in their original language, with English subtitles where appropriate. The audience will also have the opportunity to participate in discussions with visiting filmmakers after most of the screenings. For a PDF version of the full schedule, click here.
