CHICAGO – The laconic Nick Offerman and the iconic Megan Mullally made their way back to Chicago – both had been performers here – for a red carpet event and reception at Prime & Provisions Chicago on October 2nd, 2018, to celebrate their “cover star” status for the October 2018 cover of Michigan Avenue Magazine.

Married actors Mullally and Offerman have crisscrossed their show biz careers and have had triumphs on their own. Megan Mullally just has relaunched Karen, her most familiar TV character, on the NBC reboot of “Will & Grace.” Nick Offerman, who was also known for TV as Ron Swanson on “Parks and Recreation,” did his first lead film role in 2018, Brett Haley’s “Hearts Beat Loud.” The husband and wife team – who also had done time in Chicago earlier in their performance lives and met doing a stage play – also was in town to present their traveling show, “Megan Mullally & Nick Offerman Unscripted,” which filled the Chicago Theatre in the Loop.

Michigan Avenue Magazine is Chicago’s “Modern Luxury” lifestyle publication, focusing on Home & Real Estate, People, Style & Beauty and Parties around and about the Windy City. Editor-in-Chief J.P. Anderson and President Dan Uslan welcomed cover star Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman, as well as Chicago’s glitterati at Prime & Provisions, a classic fare steakhouse at 222 North LaSalle Street in the heart of the Loop.
