CHICAGO – Michael Moore, again pushing the hot button, interrupted the scheduled 7:15pm showing of “Pelham 1-2-3” at Chicago’s AMC River East Theater on Friday, June 12th, with a publicity stunt and teaser for his next documentary.

The yet-to-be-titled film, due to open on October 2nd, 2009, obviously will take on the current bailout situation for American companies and banks, and the concurrent exploit in Theater 13 hammered home the point.

Just as the feature presentation (”The Taking of Pelham 1-2-3”) was about to start, the lights suddenly went up and about a dozen promoters stormed the aisles with tee-shirts that read, “Save Our CEOs” shaking canisters in an attempt to collect money.

HollywoodChicago.com had a video camera there, and also obtained a copy of the teaser trailer.

Documentary provocateur Michael Moore’s new film is scheduled to open October 2nd, 2009.
