Here is the plot description for “The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day”:
“The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day” is the much-anticipated sequel to the indie cult classic “The Boondock Saints”. The film is the continuation of writer/director Troy Duffy’s tough, stylized and cutting-edge saga of the MacManus brothers (Norman Reedus, Sean Patrick Flanery).
The two have been in deep hiding with their father, Il Duce (Billy Connolly), in the quiet valleys of Ireland. They’ve been far removed from their former vigilante lives. When word comes that a beloved priest has been killed by sinister forces from deep within the mob, the brothers return to Boston to mount a violent and bloody crusade to bring justice to those responsible.
With a new partner in crime (Clifton Collins Jr., “Star Trek”) and a sexy FBI operative (Julie Benz, TV’s “Dexter”) hot on their trail, the saints are back!

indie cult classics
Unique low budget movies becoming successful. Everybody loves the underdog.
Boondock Saints
I like the passion that everyone put into the movie. Also the movies seem to be better then any hollywood special effects action movie.
Love about indie cult classics?
I used to love the rough edges, the fact that an indie film was a bit unpolished gave it a certain feel; but ever since that ‘feel’ was discovered and blatantly copied by the Hollywood studios, it just isn’t the same.
i love the fact that u can
i love the fact that u can get good movies with low budgets and u can watch them over and over again
indie cult classic
they usually don’t have to be big..no formula to stick to and are just well done. Different is good.
I like indie movies because
they generally rely upon cinematic and writing ability, rather than large budgets and expensive special effects. They are forced to get their message across using skill, rather than money.
what i like..
it’s more about the raw acting
What i love about cult classics is that...
the people that follow them genuinely love the movie, and although people may jump on the bandwagon, its easy to tell who was there since the beginning!
What To Love
I love the cult classics because they come out of nowhere, “where this guy going, nowhere”
moving on, there is no huge advertisements or over the top PR, they are just good movies that most people have never heard of, at first at least, and then they get huge followings because they are good films, they get a fan basis because they are good, not because of some overpaid actor or some famous director, people like them because they are just flat out good.
cult movies
I appreciate indie films because they are free from conventional story lines and usually keeps me engaged from start to finish.
