Submitted by PatrickMcD on October 25, 2017 - 11:07amCHICAGO – When Johnny comes marching home again, as the old song goes, we’ll give him a hearty welcome then. Blu-ray Review: Even Villainous James Franco Can’t Save Dull ‘Homefront’
Submitted by NickHC on March 12, 2014 - 11:03amCHICAGO – Jason Statham has become an amorphous blob in the action genre, but an amorphous blob who is his own archetype, nonetheless. With the “Expendables” movies he began to take the genre torch from Sylvester Stallone, and now working from a script by Stallone in “Homefront”, his Americanization is nearly certified. Submitted by BrianTT on March 16, 2011 - 5:17pmCHICAGO – Do you judge a game based on quality or quantity? When players get to the end of the shockingly-brief single-player campaign of “Homefront” (under 4 hours on normal difficulty), they’re likely to think they’re being punked and the fact is that the multi-player is a kid’s wading pool compared to the depth of a title like “Call of Duty: Black Ops.”
