Unlike “Get Out,” “Us” is awash in overly concentrated plot points, a reliance on lesser references and an ending that can be seen from outer space. It’s not sophomore “jinx,” but more like the sophomore “over think.”

Submitted by BrianTT on August 1, 2012 - 4:51pmCHICAGO – “Secret World,” Peter Gabriel’s 1994 tour in support of his amazing 1992 release, “Us,” was a landmark musical event captured on a live 2-CD release and DVD release before but recently carefully remastered for a Blu-ray release called “Peter Gabriel: Secret World Live.” The transfer is beautiful and the pure genius of the concert has lost none of its power, nearly twenty years after its release. Moving, inventive, and mesmerizing, this is one of the best concert Blu-rays yet released.
