CHICAGO – As the hours count down to the Brach’s Candy building implosion for “The Dark Knight,” I continue to stay in close contact with several highly reliable sources to bring you the most accurate information.

My most current information for this event is that it will be on Wednesday, Aug. 29 or Thursday, Aug. 30 if Wednesday is rained out. The time is “critical for the cameras to get the best lighting on the scene,” my source says.

It is now scheduled to be between 11:50 a.m. and 12:55 p.m. on Wednesday or on Thursday if Wednesday isn’t the day. My source says “heavy traffic due to street closures” should be expected.
