Open Casting Call

Casting Local Chicago Talent as Extras For Upcoming Universal Pictures Comedy directed by Ron Howard

Chicago based extras casting director Jon Kinnas is holding an open casting call to meet and greet those interested in working on the new comedy from director Ron Howard starring Vince Vaughn and Kevin James.

Shooting begins at the end of May 2010, and the production will need to hire hundreds of Chicago locals to work as extras on the film. The casting call will be open to everyone, all ethnicities, ages 16 and older.

If you have any Chicago Blackhawks gear (official NHL licensed jerseys, T-shirts, hats, sweaters, foam fingers, etc.), please wear it to the casting call. We would prefer the Red home jerseys. We will take your picture in your fan attire.

WHEN: Saturday, May 22 from 11:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

Please bring a recent 4×6 photo or your headshot/resume and make sure you have a PEN.

If you have worked for Atmosphere Casting recently on “Matadors”, “Pleading Guilty” or “Source Code” you do NOT need to attend the OPEN CALL, unless you want to be photographed in your Blackhawks attire.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY MINOR CHILDREN TO THE OPEN CALL.

Name, phone number, e-mail address, age and date of birth, ethnicity, hair color, eye color, height, weight, your child’s clothing sizes and attach a photo (jpg format only, no files larger than 1MB)

To work on the show, your child will need a valid Illinois Dept. of Labor Employment Certificate, also know as a “work permit”.
