Well worth the $9.25 I spent when I saw it.

& guess what? Even though the people at Piper’s Alley thought that they all had to smoosh together to watch the movie when there were rows & rows of seats available outside of the center row/center aisle, people were generally, I would say A-!

So I didn’t have to sigh heavily whilst people were rude, which is nice.

Why A-?

1. You know how at the movies, there’s an unspoken rule, if you will, that you leave a seat in-between parties of people? Well, like I said above, even though there was plenty & I mean plenty of seating available in the aisles & the rows both in front of & behind us, people insisted on squishing together for warmth, or something, I dunno. & it was all the people who came in right as the movie was beginning, so they did the double no-no of making people get up, thereby marring the view of everyone behind them. All because their late butts couldn’t sit in the aisle.

2. The lady behind us laughed like a freaking hyena. No kidding. Loud. Shrieking laughter. At stuff that wasn’t even that funny. I’m talking Karen from Will & Grace on some heavy drugs. But twice as annoying.

3. The guy next to Hyena Lady kept asking, “What did he say?” Lucky for us, Hyena Lady must’ve shot him the evil eye, cuz after asking it a dozen times without a response from her, he finally shut the hell up & started listening.

4. The two late chicks next to me (who, by the way, had snacks & were cellophaning their way through the first fifteen minutes) talked during the movie. Granted, they at least had the courtesy to talk during the moments where music was playing as the characters were doing what looked like fun stuff without talking, but still … shoosh.

5. The stuffed pretzel I ordered was cold. & I don’t mean it was less than warm, I mean still frozen in the middle. Yick.

So in the grand scheme of things & because I enjoyed the movie much more than the last one I saw, I give the whole movie-going experience an A-.
