Chicago Opera Theater’s Opera Underground is a group of young people (ages 21-45) who get together for cocktails and opera throughout the year, as well as at the mainstage season at the Harris Theater in the spring. Chicago Opera Theater is young, vibrant, edgy and contemporary—and so are our Opera Underground members!
Chicago Opera Theater Young Artists Program is a performance-based training program for young singers. The intention is to provide an artistic benchmark for young artists as they commence their careers, recognizing performance experience in fresh stagings of both standard and new repertoire as an essential training element.
