Lincolnshire, IL — The exhilarating Broadway musical ALL SHOOK UP, featuring the songs of the legendary Elvis Presley, previews September 24th, opens October 1st, and runs through December 7th at the Marriott Theatre, 10 Marriott Drive. Led by Chicago’s favorite Director and Choreographer Marc Robin, ALL SHOOK UP will have you dancing in your seats!

Hailed by NBC-TV as “The best rock show since Grease,” ALL SHOOK UP features an electrifying score of over 24 Elvis Presley favorites including “Jailhouse Rock,” “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Don’t Be Cruel,” “Love Me Tender,” “Heartbreak Hotel”, “A Little Less Conversation,” and “Hound Dog.” The production’s book is by Joe DiPietro, the acclaimed creator I Love You, You’re Perfect Now Change and Over the River and Through the Woods.

ALL SHOOK UP, a modern Rock ‘n Roll version of Shakespeare’s romantic comedy Twelfth Night, is set in a conservative Midwestern town in the summer of 1955. Chad, a motorcycle ridin’, rovin’ roustabout pulls into town. Natalie, a mechanic at a local gas station, falls madly in love with him and hopes to hit the open road to “Follow that Dream,” but the mayor of the town believes he’s the “Devil in Disguise,” and looks to put a stop to his rock ‘n roll. Audiences of all ages just “Can’t Help Falling in Love” with this hot-rod musical which took Broadway by storm. A feel-good story of how a soulful young roustabout helps a whole town find love and discover the magic of rock ‘n roll, ALL SHOOK UP is a thrilling new musical extravaganza.

ALL SHOOK UP stars returning favorite Tyler Hanes as the rovin’ roustabout Chad. Hanes had audiences and critics alike cheering in the Marriott’s 2005 production of FOOTLOOSE. Chris Jones of the Chicago Tribune proclaimed, “To call Hanes a triple-threat doesn’t even begin to evoke his chops or his charm – this handsome kid can act, sing and turn the teenage girls in the front row to jelly.” Opposite Hanes is Chicago’s newest star, Jessie Mueller as Natalie.

ALL SHOOK UP also stars Melody Betts as Sylvia, Don Forston as Sheriff Earl, Chasten Harmon as Lorraine, Ross Lehman as Jim, Dennis Moench as Dennis, Matt Raftery as Dean Hyde, Paula Scrofano as Mayor Matilda Hyde, and Christine Sherrill as Miss Sandra. The ensemble features Angela Brydon, Nicky Cooper, Nina Fluke, Brandon Koller, Ericka Mac, David Morrison, Ano Okera, Max Quinlan, Jay Reynolds Jr., Jason Shuffler, Cessalee Smith-Stoval, and Jody Cole Wood.

The artistic team for ALL SHOOK UP is led by director and choreographer Marc Robin with Musical Direction by Ryan Nelson, Set Design by Tom Ryan, Costume Design by Nancy Missimi, Lighting Design by Diane Ferry Williams, Sound Design by Cecil Averett and Properties Design is by Greg Isaac. Patti Garwood conducts the Marriott Theatre orchestra.

The performance schedule for ALL SHOOK UP is Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m., Saturdays at 2:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., and Sundays at 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. With the purchase of a $55 ticket on Wednesdays and Thursdays, dinner in either Kings Wharf or Fairfield Inn restaurants is included. This special offer is based on dining availability. All other performance ticket prices are $45.00, excluding tax and handling fees. A $5.00 discount for students and seniors is valid on Wednesday and Sunday matinee performances.
