Partnership with The Pink Monkey Brings Revue Back For Extended Run

Chicago, IL – November 22, The Flaming Dames are raising the stakes again with the return of their popular revue, Vegas Baby. Once again the ladies are paying homage to everything glitzy, glamorous, and sexy about that city of ‘sin’, Las Vegas, Nevada. But now, thanks to a new partnership with The Pink Monkey, their unique brand of burlesque will land in Chicago’s historic South Loop. The ‘dames’ are ready to entice with brand new ‘strip’-tastic dances and hot new hosts. High rollers, lounge lizards, and rat packers alike will be welcomed by seasoned stage veteran and Las Vegas alum, Mr. Jack Spade who will be sharing the stage and Master of Ceremony duties with the greatest entertainer of all time, “Mr Vegas” himself, Tony Clifton. From the classic Vegas showgirl styles to the latest hip-gyrating moves, The Flaming Dames in Vegas Baby could raise Elvis from the dead and shoot him through the Stratosphere.

The Flaming Dames, Chicago’s premiere “concept burlesque” troupe, have been producing innovative, pop culture infused revues for the past 5 years. Their original revue, SIN-troducing The Flaming Dames, was turning audience members away and several additional concept shows have come along including The Flaming Dames in Talk Dirty To Me, Bump and Grindhouse, Naughty & Nice, and Hell’s Belles with similar results. . And when it comes to ‘Vegas Baby’ and The Pink Monkey audiences will hit the jackpot with the Flaming Dames. In this French inspired steakhouse, guests can arrive early for a five star dinner and stay late for the best in adult entertainment. You bring the booze and The Pink Monkey will keep you up all night in the style of the Lido in Paris. Audiences are also invited to the Dames after party at Brando’s Speakeasy located just a few short blocks away at 343 S. Dearborn.

“The show, the dances, and the ‘Dames’ really reflect the glamour of Vegas,” explains Creative and Director, Leslie Kerrigan. “And our hats are still tipped to the big, snazzy, old school Las Vegas productions.” “We’re glitzier and bawdier than ever—the essence of Vegas right here in Chicago!” adds Assistant Creative Director Meagan Piccochi. “The Pink Monkey wants to bring something new to this genre and Vegas Baby is just the beginning. Moving forward we’re going to combine music and other live acts in trying to create an authentic art-house atmosphere with a broad appeal,” says Manager and part owner Dino Valentino.
