HollywoodChicago.com film critic Allison Pitaccio wrote in her 3.5 out of 5.0 review of the new film “My Blueberry Nights” with Jude Law, Rachel Weisz, Natalie Portman and Norah Jones from legendary Chinese director Wong Kar-Wai:
Ornamental details like cigarette smoking and messy handwriting keep the settings tight and constrictive. Still, there’s awkward shakiness that’s fortified with interjections of high-volume, often-distracting soundtrack.
