I will admit it, I was a watcher of the “Sex and the City” television series on HBO. I always thought it was well-written and more farcical than merely dismissing it as a “chick show.” Anyway, besides accompanying a date to the big premiere of the movie version coming up, will any man besides me admit they are curious about the film?
Another discussion point: are you sick of the hype?
Here is another take on it in the Associated Press
NEW YORK (AP) — Can a pure chick flick become a hit? Yes, if it draws a diverse enough swath of female moviegoers. For “Sex and the City,” that will be the big question.
