Apollo 13

As a kid that wanted to grow up to be an astronaut, I loved watching anything having to do with space exploration and rocketry, so I’m going to have to go with Apollo 13 as my personal favorite.

Which Ron Howard film means the most to you and why? Read more:

Without a doubt Beautiful Mind. I had an aunt who was Schizophrenic but we did not know, nor there was much treatment in those days. Here the issue was handled in a humane and compassionate way and it clearly demonstrated that people with mental health problems, if treated cared for way can have a very productive life.

my fav movie...

Apollo 13… having read about it in school in some class, i just remembered it as an event that happened in the past. but the movie changed the way it’s in my memory now, not just the science and technicality behind it but also the emotion behind the whole story. reminded me of how small we are in space, not just in size but the problems we worry about in our day to day lives.

Parenthood

I would have to say Parenthood would be at the top of my list. Ron Howard brilliantly captured many aspects that a parent faces making it easy to relate to in any era and definitely believable. Those with children would agree.

Apollo 13

Though hard to choose one, my favorite Ron Howard film is probably Apollo 13. It incorporates so many elements that I enjoy, drama, love, science, suspense, and is an extremely interesting story.
