Here is the plot description for “Rabbit Hole”:
“Rabbit Hole” is a vivid, hopeful, honest and unexpectedly witty portrait of a family searching for what remains possible in the most impossible of all situations.
Becca and Howie Corbett (Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart) are returning to their everyday existence in the wake of a shocking, sudden loss. Just eight months ago, they were a happy suburban family with everything they wanted. Now, they are caught in a maze of memory, longing, guilt, recrimination, sarcasm and tightly controlled rage from which they cannot escape. As Becca finds pain in the familiar, Howie finds comfort. The shifts come in abrupt, unforeseen moments.
Becca hesitantly opens up to her opinionated, loving mother (Dianne Wiest) and secretly reaches out to the teenager involved in the accident who changed everything (Miles Teller). Meanwhile, Howie lashes out and imagines solace with another woman (Sandra Oh). As off track as they are, the couple still keeps trying to find their way back to a life that holds the potential for beauty, laughter and happiness. The resulting journey is an intimate glimpse into two people learning to reengage with each other and a world that has been tilted off its axis.
“Rabbit Hole” is directed by John Cameron Mitchell (“Hedwig and the Angry Inch”) from a script by acclaimed playwright David Lindsay-Abaire (adapted from his Pulitzer Prize-winning play). The cast, which is led by Academy Award winner Nicole Kidman (“The Hours”) and Golden Globe nominee Aaron Eckhart, includes two-time Oscar winner Dianne Wiest (“Hannah and Her Sisters,” “Bullets Over Broadway”), Tammy Blanchard, Miles Teller, Giancarlo Esposito, Jon Tenney and Sandra Oh.
“Rabbit Hole” is produced by Olympus Pictures, Blossom Films and OddLot Entertainment. Producers on the project are Leslie Urdang, Dean Vanech, Nicole Kidman, Per Saari and Gigi Pritzker. The executive producers are Daniel Revers, William Lischak, Linda McDonough and Brian O’Shea. Lionsgate presents an Olympic Pictures, Blossom Films and OddLot Entertainment production.

You don't actually ever move on...
You cope, you keep living, you get support from family and friends. You cherish the memories.
Rabbit Hole
Sadly, you don’t.
how does one move on....
One never can fully move on… but with time their heart will heal with the love and comfort of family, friends and loved ones.
Coping w/ the loss of a child
I’d like to think I’d be strong & seek lots of therapy. Luckily, I haven’t had to deal w/ that type of situation.
I don’t think one could
I don’t think one could ever move on and forget the loss of a child. All they can is hope each day for a better tomorrow and depend on God to help them through it all! :)
Rabbit Hole
You move on losing a child the best wat you personally know how. my best friends(2) both lost their firstborns two years apart. They both beat depression by focusing on their time and pictures/memories. Neither child made it to one yr of age but they still to this day have so many memories that they smile about!
Rabbit hole
i could imagin losing any of my children but my only thought would be to go to and lean on God with the understanding that all things happen for a reason. 20
