Here is the plot description for “Larry Crowne”:

Oscar winners Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts reunite for a dramatic comedy about how the hard knocks from today’s recession inspire one everyday guy – named Larry Crowne – to undergo a personal reinvention.

Until he was downsized, affable and amiable Larry Crowne (Hanks) was a superstar team leader at the big-box company where he’s worked since his time in the Navy. Under water on his mortgage and unclear on what to do with his suddenly free days, Larry heads to his local college to start over.

There he becomes part of a colorful community of outcasts and the overlooked. Often moving around town in a herd of scooters, they’re all trying to find a better future for themselves. In his public-speaking class, Larry develops an unexpected crush on his teacher, Mercedes Tainot (Roberts), who has lost as much passion for teaching as she has for her husband.

The simple guy who has every reason to think his life has stalled will come to learn an unexpected lesson: when you think everything worth having has passed you by, you just might discover your reason to live.

Reason For Living

To make my little inpression on the world and make it a little better place than I found it. Do random acts of kindness and try to treat everyone how I would like to be treated.

Living

Hi all, my reason for living is life itself. I want to know what’s the next “thing” to come down the pipe. I want to know what great innovation is going to happen tomorrow. And I live for the family and friends.

What is your reason for living?

There are so many reasons for living. Foremost, my family, friends, and loved ones. Secondly, to experience and actually live life. We are like blank canvases, we were born in this world without knowledge but yet as we experience life, we are able to create and accomplish so many awe inspiring things. In addition, my reason for living life is to be able to experience the different ranges of emotions and to be sculpted and shaped by my experiences.

What is your reason for living?

My reason for living is to do the things that make me happy and to make the people in my life happy also. I don’t want to fight with people or get into pity arguments. I do the best I can and I always give 110% in anything I put my mind to.
