Here is the plot description for “Friends With Benefits”:

Despite what Hollywood romantic comedies would have them believe, Dylan (Justin Timberlake) and Jamie (Mila Kunis) think it’s going to be easy to add the simple act of sex to their friendship. They soon discover, however, that getting physical really does always lead to complications.

The all-star cast includes Justin Timberlake (“The Social Network,” “Bad Teacher”), Mila Kunis (“Black Swan,” “Forgetting Sarah Marshall”), Woody Harrelson (“Zombieland,” “2012”), Jenna Elfman (“Keeping the Faith,” TV’s “Dharma & Greg”), Richard Jenkins (“Dear John,” “Let Me In”) and Patricia Clarkson (“Easy A,” “Shutter Island”).

Friends with benefits

While in the moment it might seem like a great idea, someone usually gets hurt in the end. If such “physical need for release” arises the best thing to do is involve someone who is expendable.

Friends with Benefits

I had a male friend and neither of us were dating anyone at the time so we decided to give it a try…just use each other for sex. I have to say…friends with benefits is not a good idea if you really want to stay friends.

Friends w/ benefits

I got into this situation with a friend I had a huge crush on, he was my best friend for like 6 months and then I started this FWB situation. It was awful and still is! I got really attached to him and wanted more, I ended up breaking off the whole “benefit” part of the situation and I still talk to him as a friend but I just can’t seem to get over him. Its been 4 months since we went back to friends and I wish I could get over him and move on but just can’t… its so confusing and everytime I see him or talk to him I am hurt all over again. My advice NEVER do it!

Friends with Benefits

Friends with benefits mosts always leads to complications because one or the other wants to get serious and the other wants to date others, where emotions get involved.

Friends with benefits

I do not believe this type of relationship usually works. It may seem very simple and no-string-attached but someone often ends up getting tangled up and things can get more complicated.

Friends with Benefits...

Been there—-done that…tried it. In the short term it sounds like a great idea. In the long run, someone gets hurt more than the other. The worst part is that the friendship can or will never be the same again. Try looking past immediate gratification when you can. :)
