CHICAGO – Rumors are swirling in Hollywood that Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are separating. The news, first reported by In Touch Weekly, was revealed by an “insider,” but the news has not been verified by Will or Jada or their representatives.

In fact, Radar Online is reporting that an unidentified family member has denied these rumors. “This is absolutely not true,” said the family member. “No way are they splitting up. They are totally together and are not separating. They’re happy and married still

Likewise, a separate source that works close to Will at his production company, Overbrook Entertainment, denied the rumors. “No way are they splitting up. They are totally together and are not separating.

Will and Jada have been married for 13 years and were considered one of the major power couples in the industry. While nothing has been confirmed, it is not ridiculous to say this news is a shock, even if Hollywood divorce is incredibly common.

Will and Jada have had two children together, Jaden (13) and Willow (10). Both Jaden and Willow have acted in films with Will (Jaden co-starred with his dad in “The Pursuit of Happyness” and Willow as Smith’s daughter in “I Am Legend”) and have developed careers of their own. Jaden starred in the 2010 remake of “The Karate Kid” and Willow launched a music career peaking at #11 on the Billboard Hot 100 with her single “Whip My Hair.”

Jada is Will’s second wife, having married Sheree Zampino in 1992 and having a son with her, Trey (featured in Will’s “Just the Two of Us” music video). The couple split in 1995 and Will married Jada two years later.

Stay tuned to HollywoodChicago.com for any updates on whether the separation is pure rumor or if the Smiths are calling it quits.
