Entertainment News: 2011 Hollywood Celebrities & Memorabilia Show in Chicago

CHICAGO – The Hollywood Celebrities & Memorabilia Show kicks off on Saturday, October 1st, and for the final time it will be hosted by Ray and Sharon Courts. The dynamic duo has been bringing this show to Chicago, which connects fans with celebrities for autographs and photos, for nearly 20 years.

The show will go on in the area, as Ray Courts told HollywoodChicago.com that he has sold the rights to the event, but this will be the last for him and his wife Sharon. They began the show in 1990, and has been bringing to Chicago since 1993. Besides the celebrity guests, a collectors market with a wide range of movie posters and memorabilia is also part of the event.

Schedule to appear this weekend, on October 1st and 2nd, is “The Fonz” himself, Henry Winkler, and his counterparts from Milwaukee, Penny “Laverne” Marshall and Cindy “Shirley” Williams. Also appearing is Barry Bostwick (”Rocky Horror Picture Show”), Paul Michael Glaser (”Starsky & Hutch”), Richard Kiel (Jaws in “The Spy Who Loved Me”), Pat Priest (Marilyn from “The Munsters”) and Dawn Wells (Mary Ann from “Gilligan’s Isle”).
