CHICAGO – As expected, CBS has given back-episode orders to new dramas “Unforgettable” and “Person of Interest,” meaning they’ll be on until at least May 2012. As for whether or not they’ll get second seasons, let the bubble watch begin. Both shows have done well in overall viewers but not as respectably in the key youth demos.

As touted by CBS, “Unforgettable” is technically the #1 new drama in viewers with 14 million people tuning in to the Tuesday night show with Poppy Montgomery, Michael Gaston, Dylan Walsh, Kevin Rankin, and Daya Vaidya. The show also notches a 4.2 rating in adults 25-54 and a 3.0 rating in adults 18-49, which isn’t a great number but works for older-skewing CBS.

“Person of Interest” is the #2 new drama of the year in overal viewers with just under 14 million viewers and more-impressive youth demo numbers with a 4.6 rating in adults 15-54 and a 3.3 rating in adults 18-49. The show stars Jim Caviezel, Michael Emerson, Taraji P. Henson, and Kevin Chapman from producer J.J. Abrams.

I love “A Gifted Man”

I love “A Gifted Man” and “Person of Interest” reminds me of one of my all time favorite shows, “The Equalizer”.
