Here is the synopsis for “Young Adult”:

Academy Award winner Charlize Theron plays Mavis Gary: a writer of teen literature who returns to her small hometown to reclaim her happily married high school sweetheart (Patrick Wilson). When returning home proves more difficult than she thought, Mavis forms an unusual bond with a former classmate (Patton Oswalt) who also hasn’t quite gotten over high school.

Succeed. Out of my graduating class, I was the only student who went to a private school, and the only student to go out of state to school. I attended the University of Chicago. If we had had superlatives as college seniors, I would have been voted Most Likely to Win An Oscar. Or at least I like to think so.
