Regarded as one of the best 3D films released to date, it is nice to see that Paramount is giving a Blu-Ray 3D release, but the combo pack will set you back a bit considering it comes with the regular Blu-Ray and DVD as well. In a press release, the pricing for the 3D combo pack is $44.99, the Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack is $39.99, and the Single-Disc DVD is $29.99. These prices can obviously differ from store to store and sale to sale.
The Single-Disc DVD will only feature the film in standard definition, but the Blu-Ray has much more to offer: The feature film in high definition, “Shoot the Moon (The Making of Hugo),” “The Cinemagician, Georges Méliès,” “The Mechanical Man at the Heart of Hugo,” “Big Effects, Small Scale,” and “Sacha Baron Cohen: Role of a Lifetime.”
