This year’s Chicago edition of this competition concludes on Aug. 27, 2015 at the Logan Theatre when it will screen the best of the competition and present awards.
The 2015 event began on Aug. 14 and gave Chicago filmmakers that weekend period from kick-off to drop-off of the films. They were screened for the 48 Hour Film Project participants and Awards Committee – which included publisher Adam Fendelman of HollywoodChicago.com – from Aug. 18 through the 20 with final balloting over last weekend.
The top films will be screened and awards presented on Thursday, Aug. 27 at the Logan Theatre in Chicago at 2646 N. Milwaukee Ave. with a wrap party to follow.
