CHICAGO – The short film gets its due at one of Chicago’s premiere micro-lengthed movie festivals. Eleven shorts from around the world – presented by Nebula Creatives – will unspool at the 6th “Shortcut 100” International Film Festival at the Logan Theatre in the Logan Square neighborhood on September 29th, 2018. The event takes place from 5-9pm and will feature the following films: “Spanish Onion,” “The Noise of Light,” “The Empowered Women of Korogocho,” “Bliss Blue,” “The Untold Story of Romeo & Juliet,” “Acting Her Age,” “Ponytail,” “Akashi,” “The House,” “Hammersmith: Hurdle of Dreams” and “Fupa.” The Founder and Curator of Shortcut 100 is Rujanee Majakanjana of Nebula Creatives, the company that produces the festival. She is a filmmaker, whose works include the short film “Out of Sight” and the feature “Parallel Universe.” She is currently working on her latest film, “Lab 99.”
