CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com appears on “The Morning Mess” with Scott Thompson on WBGR-FM (Monroe, Wisconsin) on March 4th, reviewing the new film “Raya and the Last Dragon,” in theaters and available through Disney+ (Premier Access) on March 5th, 2021.

Raya (voice of Kelly Marie Tran) opens the film on a search to save the land of Kumandra, and in flashback we learn an enemy named Druun had caused a division in the land and turned people plus ancient dragons into stone, except one. Raya finds the last dragon named Sisu (Awkwafina) and together they are on a quest to reunite the kingdoms, with the help of an unlikely gang of misfits.

“Raya and The Last Dragon” is in theaters and available through Disney+ (Premier Access) on March 5th. Featuring the voices of Kelly Marie Tran, Awkwafina, Gemma Chan, Sandra Oh and Alan Tudyk. Written by Qui Nguyyen and Adele Lim. Directed by Don Hal and Carlos López Estrada. Rated “PG
