Emma Stone is Estella, who since childhood has been battling her bipolar nature as her alter ego Cruella. She is orphaned from her single mother in a bizarre accident involving a fashion designer called The Baroness (Emma Thompson), and must toil in her life since that incident as a petty thief with her partners (Joel Fry and Paul Walter Hauster) and as a rising fashion designer to rival The Baroness.
