Rating: 3.5/5.0

This is the NINTH installment of the “Fast & Furious” saga, and like the Marvel Universe they have created they own world. Again it’s Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto, married to Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) and trying to stay retired and raise his son. The F&F team – now a special ops unit run by enigmatic Mr. Nobody (Kurt Russell) – visits Dom’s farm, and wants him to come back to retrieve a weapon systems hacking device called Aries. Dominic is reluctant at first, until it’s revealed that his brother Jakob (John Cena) is a rogue agent working with a billionaire who wants to possess Aries. So this time … in accordance with all other times … it’s personal.

“F9” opens in theaters June 25th. Featuring Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, John Cena, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Kurt Russell, Chalize Theron and Helen Mirren. Screenplay by Justin Lin and Daniel Casey. Directed by Justin Lin. Rated “PG-13”
