HollywoodChicago.com Oscarman rating: 3.5/5.0
Rating: 3.5/5.0

This is the latest from M. Night Shaymalan, the master of creepy who gave us “The Sixth Sense” and “Broken,” among others. This time, persons staying in a resort are taken to a remote private beach, where they begin to rapidly get older. There is a force affecting their cells and everything that happens in a lifetime happens in one day. Getting off the beach is the challenge for the rapidly aging vacationers.

“Old” opened in theaters on July 23rd. Featuring Gael Garcia Bernal, Vicky Krieps, Rufus Sewell, Alex Wolff and Thomaain McKenzie. Screenplay adapted and directed by M. Night Shyamalan. Rated “R”
