Two middle aged couples, one being Richard (Reed Birney) and Linda (Ann Dowd) and the other being Jay (Jason Isaacs) and Gail (Martha Plimpton), congregate in a meeting room in an Episcopalian Church. They are there to mediate as therapy, as Richard and Linda’s son killed Jay and Gail’s son in a school shooting. The meeting takes place in real time, as the couples confront each other.

“Mass” is in select theaters on October 15th. See local listings for theaters and show times. Featuring Reed Birney, Ann Dowd, Jason Isaacs, Martha Plimpton and Breeda Wool. Written and directed by Fran Kranz. Rated “PG-13”
