PART ONE of “Get Back” should be subtitled CHALLENGES, as it shows a rather dejected foursome getting together to start the project, while the documentary cameras roll. The plan is to have a Beatles live show for a TV audience, but they can’t decide what that will be. The rap on The Beatles is that Paul McCartney has kind of ‘taken over’ responsibilities of rallying the rest of them, and that is evident in the early phases of the planning. This part also deals with an infamous argument between Paul and George, which in LET IT BE seems like a bitch fest, but in the extended context in GET BACK is merely typical band non-communication.

”Get Back” will stream on the Disney+ Network on November 25th, 26th and 27th, 2021. Featuring John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. Directed by Peter Jackson. Rated TV-MA … the boys like to swear and smoke.
