TV News: ‘Watchathon’ Week is on Tap for Xfinity Customers Through May 9, 2022

CHICAGO – One of the most highly anticipated weeks of the year for the Xfinity TV service customers is happening now as “Watchathon” Week takes place through May 9th, 2022, offering access to thousands of free movies and TV shows from HBO Max, Netflix, Prime Video, STARZ, SHOWTIME®, EPIX, Peacock, AMC+ and more. The week is available for Xfinity customers on X1, Flex and the Stream APP. Offerings include the first two seasons of Netflix’s “Stranger Things,” just in time to get excited for the fourth season premiering May 27th, the first season of ‘Girls5Eva’ ahead of the season two premiere on May 5th and all four seasons of “Yellowstone” on Peacock, the first season of select Prime Video Originals including ”The Boys,” “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” “The Wilds,” “Bosch,” and “Harlem,” PLUS content such as SHOWTIME drama “The First Lady,” STARZ’s “Outlander” and “Gaslit.” Throw in HBO Max’s “Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty” and EPIX’s “Godfather of Harlem,” and great viewing is ahead.

AMC will also be bringing Watchathon to its XUMO channels for the first time, offering three of free access to some of its most popular shows including a 24-hour marathon of The Walking Dead season, starting on May 8th. In addition, thousands of hours of multicultural content with complete access to subscription services such as Qwest TV, Kocowa, Here TV, Brown Sugar, Pantaya, and others.
