NEW YORK – The legendary Tribeca Film Festival, celebrating its 23rd edition, will again be the talk of New York, as it kicks off Wednesday, June 5th, with “Diane von Furstenberg: Woman in Charge.” There are the in-person thrills and an option for at-home screenings. CLICK TRIBECA 2024.

The 2024 Tribeca Festival, presented by Web3 tech company OKX, brings artists and diverse audiences together to celebrate storytelling in all its forms, including film, TV, VR, gaming, music, and online work. With strong roots in independent film, Tribeca is a platform for creative expression and immersive entertainment.

Diane von Furstenberg was only 22 years old when she had an idea that would change the fashion industry forever. The wrap dress was celebrated as a 1970s symbol of feminine power and liberation when it was first introduced, launching von Furstenberg’s career as a designer and fashion icon. Tribeca alumni Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and Trish Dalton’s wildly entertaining portrait goes behind the scenes with Furstenberg herself as she prepares for a museum exhibition showcasing her life’s work. This event, is combined with the story of her mother, a Holocaust survivor whose influence shaped her into the determined, independent “woman in charge” she is today.
