Audio Film Review: All Greek to Harry Connick Jr. in ‘Find Me Falling’
CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com audio film review for “Find Me Falling,” featuring Harry Connick Jr. as a depressed rock star and the Greek island country he escapes to go back to his past to help his present. Streaming on Netflix beginning on July 19th.
Rating: 3.5/5.0 |
Harry Connick Jr. is John Allman, a rock star in this universe, whose last album is a bust, so he escapes to the Greek island country of Cyprus, where he buys a cliffside beach home that has a secret … it’s a spot where people like to jump to their deaths. Strangely, that’s not the main story. It seems that John has chosen this locale because he knows Sia (Agni Scott) lives there. They are old lovers from John’s wild days, and he wants to reconnect. There are a lot of obstacles though, including a singer at a local taverna named Melina (Ali Fumiko Whitney). Will these older souls find refreshment with each other?
