CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com appears on “The Morning Mess” with Scott Thompson on WBGR-FM (Monroe, Wisconsin) on September 26th, reviewing the film “Will & Harper,” a documentary regarding Will Ferrell and his friend Harper, who has made an important decision. What if you had a longtime friend, in this case male, who decided at age 61 that they were going to transition to female? Thus is the case with Andrew Steele, a former writer on Saturday Night Live, who happened to be besties with Will Ferrell. When the new she comes out to his buddy, the pair decides to take a road trip together, to both understand the new dynamic of their relationship and to see America through the newly dubbed Harper Steele’s eyes. As they are off to see America, will America welcome them?
