CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com appears on The Eddie Volkman Show on a Two-Station Broadcast … Star 96.7 Joliet (IL) and Star 105.5 McHenry on November 15th, reviewing the new film “A Real Pain,” written and directed by, as well as featuring Jesse Eisenberg. In theaters on November 15th.

Eisenberg portrays David, a family man who is taking a long-promised trip with his estranged cousin Benji (Kieran Culkin) as they seek their grandmother’s old house in Poland and tour the Majdanek concentration camp. Although they were once close, Benji has gone a bit off the rails. However, they get to know each other again on the trip, which includes a tour group with Marcia (Jennifer Grey) and tour guide James (Will Sharpe). Their personal relationship and family history come to the surface, and most of which is not pleasant.

”A Real Pain” is in theaters on November 15th. Featuring Jennifer Grey, Will Sharpe, Jesse Eisenberg, Kieran Culkin and Liza Sadovy. Written and directed by Jesse Eisenberg. Rated “R”.
