CHICAGO – On behalf of all of us at HollywoodChicago.com, I’m pleased to announce two exciting and significant developments for this Chicago-based arts and entertainment publication and ultimately for our readers.

  1. We have upgraded our Web site hosting. Starting today, our new hosting environment will deliver to you greatly improved load times and overall site performance and stability.

  • We have hired veteran A&E critic Brian Tallerico as our full-time content director. You can learn more about him and his background here.

After our launch in early 2007, HollywoodChicago.com has and continues to grow by leaps and bounds. We have you – our readers – to thank for it. In fact, we’ve grown so much that you may have noticed in the last couple weeks slow load times on the site or other instabilities.

That’s because we outgrew our previous hosting environment. As of today, we’re coming to you live from a much more robust hosting platform that’ll be fast and stable for you. Starting today, the site’s performance will be like that just-brushed feeling you get after going to the dentist.

We’ll continue to deliver the latest on the local and national arts and entertainment spectrum.

With the addition of veteran critic Brian Tallerico, we’ll be bringing you daily film reviews, interviews and news as well as DVD reviews, Blu-ray reviews, TV reviews, theatre reviews, video game reviews, top 10 lists and much more. Stay tuned for great things to come and enjoy your holidays!
