‘Fame National Talent Search’ Coming to Six Flags Great America
CHICAGO – “Fame” is one of the most highly anticipated films of the fall, but talented actors, singers, musicians, and dancers can have their shot at glory before the movie opens on September 25th, 2009 by participating in the “Fame National Talent Search” at Six Flags Great America.
One grand-prize winner will walk away with a prize package that includes a $5,000 cash prize, a photo spread in OK! Magazine, a 5 day/4 night trip to Hollywood, a meet-and-greet with a top talent agent, a meet-and-greet with a studio executive, and a final performance that will live forever on the DVD for the movie “Fame”.
Auditions will be held at Six Flags Great America on Saturday, August 22nd with registration running from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Local semi-finals will be held the next day from 4:00pm to 5:00pm and feature local celebrity guest judges Billy Dec, David Viggiano from WFLD-TV/Fox and DJ Rebecca Ortiz from B96.

The top ten performers from the auditions will make the semi-finals round with a special performance by V-Factory with “Fame“‘s Asher Book will take place.
The one winner from Chicagoland’s Six Flags will compete with the other 5 Six Flags winners from across the country and 1 MySpace winner in the finals at Six Flags Magic Mountain on Saturday, September 5th.
