CHICAGO – How does a film festival still go on while the pandemic continues? Sophia Wong Boccio, the Founder and Curator of Chicago’s Asian Pop-Up Cinema (APUC), has found a way … have Opening Night (and other dates) at the Drive In.

CHICAGO – The Asian Pop-Up Cinema (APUC) of Chicago, coming off their popular “Audience Choice Winners Rewind” and recent “Taiwan Cinema Online,” will present a specially curated “Father’s Day Cheer” from June 19th to 21st, 2020.

CHICAGO – The Asian Pop-Up Cinema (APUC) of Chicago, and their international Selection Committee, has announced the winners of the APUC “Funniest Stay-At-Home Short Film Competition. The competition took place over the last three months of the global quarantine, and attracted entries from the U.S. and the world.

CHICAGO – The Asian Pop-Up Cinema (APUC) of Chicago, coming off their popular “Audience Choice Winners Rewind” in May, will present a specially curated “Mini Focus,” June 5th to 12th, 2020, featuring “Taiwan Cinema Online.” All it takes to access the films – a short films program and five features – for FREE is to register at the APUC website on the day the film is schedule to stream.
