CHICAGO – Oscar-winning director Robert Zemeckis (“Back to the Future,” “Forrest Gump”) returns to live-action for the first time since “Cast Away” this week with the spectacular “Flight,” starring Denzel Washington, Don Cheadle, Kelly Reilly, and Bruce Greenwood.

CHICAGO – One of the great American directors of audience favorite movies is Chicagoan Robert Zemeckis. Known primarily for his “Back to the Future” trilogy, Zemeckis has broken new ground with his recent motion capture animated films “Polar Express,” “Beowulf” and “A Christmas Carol.” His new film “Flight” premiered on the Closing Night of the Chicago International Film Festival on October 25th, 2012.

CHICAGO – The McHenry Outdoor Theater, one of the last remaining drive-in movie venues in America, will be holding a fundraiser on Friday, Oct. 5 and 6, 2012. The event will help raise money to purchase a new digital projector, which the historic venue needs to stay in business. The theater is located at 1510 Chapel Hill Road in McHenry, Ill.

CHICAGO – Everybody’s favorite 1950s Mom – besting June Cleaver by a mile – is Lorraine, from the classic 1985 film “Back to the Future.” Lea Thompson, celebrating that milestone character on the 25th anniversary of “Future,” met admirers recently at the Hollywood Blvd Cinema in Woodridge, Ill.

CHICAGO – The reunited cast of ‘Back to the Future’ included one of the key members of that 1985 classic. Christopher Lloyd, unforgettable as Doc Brown, took questions from fans in an appearance recently at the Hollywood Palms in Naperville, IL.

CHICAGO – The classic film “Back to the Future” celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, and the original cast – including Claudia Wells as Jennifer – will be introducing the film this weekend at the Hollywood Palms and Hollywood Blvd Cinema in suburban Chicago.
