Chicago International Movies & Music Festival

CHICAGO – Chicago has a wealth of film festivals this spring, and one of the coolest ones will take place on Saturday, April 14th, 2018, at the historic Davis Theater. The 13th Sound of Silent Film Festival combines cutting edge filmmakers – like Brian Zahm of “Tea Party” – and pairs their short works with Chicago-area musicians in all styles, who will provide live in-theater accompaniment. CHICAGO – In receiving the official BADASSS Award at the 2015 Chicago International Movies & Music Fest (CIMMFest), legendary rock documentary maker Julien Temple simply said, “Badass is not a phrase we use in England. CHICAGO – Several guests and performances that will appear at the 4th Annual Chicago Movies & Music Festival in April were officially announced today. The festival, which celebrates music in movies in features, documentaries, shorts, concert films, animation, and music videos, will take place from Thursday, April 12 to Sunday, April 15.
