CHICAGO – Locally, Jerry Pritikin was known as the Chicago Cubs “Bleacher Preacher.” But Jerry had a more important role in his life … as a photographer who captured 1970s gay liberation in San Francisco, including gay activist icon Harvey Milk. CHICAGO – The Asian Pop-Up Cinema (APUC) of Chicago, coming off their popular “Audience Choice Winners Rewind” in May, will present a specially curated “Mini Focus,” June 5th to 12th, 2020, featuring “Taiwan Cinema Online.” All it takes to access the films – a short films program and five features – for FREE is to register at the APUC website on the day the film is schedule to stream.
