Film Review: ‘Bad Boys: Ride or Die’ on the Road to Nowhere
Submitted by PatrickMcD on June 6, 2024 - 8:15amCHICAGO –“Bad Boys: Ride Or Die,” the fourth in this series, is a big budget clunker that’s clearing coasting on fumes. A wheezy Martin Lawrence, and a post-slap Will Smith, are trying to recapture some of their former box office glory by trying to milk their still considerable chemistry for all its worth. Submitted by PatrickMcD on January 17, 2020 - 9:37amCHICAGO – “Bad Boys For Life” shows that maybe Will Smith isn’t too old for this kind of sh*t, but Martin Lawrence certainly is. Chris Rock, Martin Lawrence Are Stiff in Tepid ‘Death at a Funeral’
Submitted by PatrickMcD on April 16, 2010 - 5:42amCHICAGO – When some of the funniest comedians in the business – Chris Rock, Martin Lawrence, Tracy Morgan – can’t deliver a absurdist comedy about family secrets, then there truly is “Death at a Funeral.”
